Every home we create at design.construction.home.ltd is one of a kind – no exceptions - whether we design the home for you, or work with your architect to complete your dream project.
We are not a group housing company, and we specialise in one-off homes - homes that are unique in every respect. We have completed a wide range of projects including both substantial masonry and timber constructed homes.
If you are looking for the full package, we are able to combine your ideas, lifestyle and budget then maximise the features of your site to create a home that is absolutely unique to you. We then guide you through the process from concept sketch through to working drawings, and ultimately the completion of your home for a fixed contract price.
Or we can provide a fixed contract price for completion of your home from your own plans.
All pricing is done in- house and includes every aspect required to complete the construction of your dream home - including swimmimg pool or full landscaping if requested. We also specialise in pricing the unique design details featured on architecturally designed plans.
During the pricing process, you will deal with Grant McIntyre, one of the two Directors in the business. Grant has over 22 years experience in architectural design and pricing. This thorough understanding of design and construction methods ensures that the fixed contract price we provide reflects the most cost-effective construction methods. This coupled with great long-term supplier relationships ensures prices are not only accurate and guaranteed, but as good as they will get.
Key to our success is the relationship we form with our clients. James Hicks is the project manager you will deal with when you build with design.construction.home. James is the other director of the business and has over 25 years experience as a builder and project manager. James stays with you from footings to handover. He is the one point of contact throughout construction, meaning your queries or any changes or upgrades you wish to make are easily communicated throughout the construction process.
At design construction home, we don’t employ go betweens. You deal directly with Grant and James, the Directors of the company - a company that has been successfully operating since 2001 and which has completed more than 60 indivdiual and stunning homes for their clients -- many of them repeat customers.
